I am currently studying science and IT courses with the OU, which, as you're reading this, you probably already know. I am studying T182 as I am interested in web design and felt it important to know the laws by which I will be governed, should I decide to go further into the web design field.

I have completed and passed:
TU170, T171, T181, T183, T209, S151, S190, S193, S195, S180, TT280
and am currently studying:
S103, SXR103, S197, T182, S182, S194

My aim is to obtain an honours degree in IT and computing, another in natural science, and possibly a third in a scientific field.
I am a lone parent with 3 children aged 12, 10, and 23 months. I do most of my studying in the evenings as the baby is in bed and the older children are very understanding and leave me alone to work (most of the time). I anticipate that by the time the baby is in comprehensive school (nine years), I will have gained all my qualifications and be able to get a decent and enjoyable job, and be able to support myself and my children financially (hopefully).

Prior to studying with the OU I gained a GCSE in child psychology and development, and a diploma in psychology (topics of social policy and psychology)

I expect to add to this site during the study of T182, so watch this space!
